The toll-free Disaster Distress Helpline can provide immediate counseling to anyone who needs help dealing with the aftermath of a traumatic incident. This is a free, confidential, and multilingual crisis support service. Callers and texters are connected to trained and caring professionals from crisis counseling centers in the network. The Helpline staff provides confidential counseling, referrals, and other needed support services.

Amidst the stress of the current nationwide coronavirus crisis, the Missouri Coalition for Community Behavioral Healthcare is offering the application myStrength. myStrength is an evidence-based self-help resource that is available 24/7, is private and confidential, and provides quality information and inspiration on a variety of different conditions/topic areas. myStrength offers a range of personalized online resources to improve overall well-being. myStrength offers content and resources on stress management, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, chronic pain, sleep disturbance issues, and more. myStrength uses proven, evidence-based materials grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing and other empirically validated therapeutic approaches. myStrength has most recently added resources on COVID19 including Coping Skills During COVID19, tools, resources and more.
